Craft it forward 2013

Here's what I received from Aniko as part of her Craft it forward challenge: a handmade house shaped needle case, isn't cool? And lots of other goodies too.. sweets, ribbon, and vintage jam stickers that I love! Thanks again Aniko, I love it!

After I sent her one of my mini-Advent-calendar-little-pocket-wall-hanging-thing as part of my Craft it forward, Eva-Mona sent me all those lovely goodies as part of hers: a beautiful crocheted potholder in one of my favourite colours, a Liberty bracelet with a teapot charm, sweets, tea and chocolate, a notebook and post it notes that I actually wanted to buy myself.. It's like she knew me, those are all my favourite things!!
Thank you so much Eva, you got it spot on!

And a few hundreds of miles away, someone else was enjoying my Craft it forward. I love seeing the things I send in their new homes!

Parcel nb2 is leaving for France today..

I'm really enjoying this! I loved making Advent calendars, but they took forever and I needed a couple of months "rest" in between each one to find the motivation to start a new one. Because this is so much smaller it doesn't feel so daunting and I am finding it a lot more enjoyable!

And can I just say.. THANK YOU all for your lovely comments. I don't tend to reply to comments individually unless you ask me a specific question but I will go say hello on your blog and please know that all your kind words are very much appreciated, every single one of them! Thank you!

Inspired by the Advent calendars I made last year - but on a much smaller scale!!

Craft it forward 2013

I can't really remember how I came across this concept, probably on one of the millions of blogs I read.. But I love the idea so I am taking part in the Craft it forward 2013 challenge!

So what is it?
The idea is that the first five people to comment on this post will receive something handmade by me, anytime in the next year, whenever the mood strikes me.. There is a catch though! Those five people must make the same offer on their blog (or Facebook). 
And so.. people all over the world (5x5x5x5..) will be receiving handmade goodness this year, how cool is that!?

And remember, you don't need to be able to sew or knit or crochet to take part.. Your gifts can be as simple as a card, a batch of cookies, a poem.. So come on, join me and get crafting!

And you could be receiving something like this.. (Remember those flowers? Well, a few pipe cleaners, a few bits of felt and a glue gun later..)
