Crochet debut

A 2 hour Granny Squares class at Tea and Crafting and this is all I have to show for it..

This crochet business is a lot trickier than I thought..

Some Advent calendar shopping / some baking / squirrel spotting on the way to school / a little bit of sewing / a sunny Sunday walk around Brick Lane / a birthday party / thinking of Christmas..

The sweetest little package to ever land in my letterbox.. I'm in love!
These cute little creatures were made for me by Marie - thank you SO much, you have no idea how much I love them!!

Back from a week-end camping in my friend's camper van..

My week #37

It's been a bit of a funny week, Y's first proper week (well, 3 mornings..) at nursery, I haven't quite found my marks yet. It's been cold and miserable, we seemed to have stayed in a lot this week..

Colourscape - an enormous inflatable structure with maze like chambers in different colours, so much fun! / M's been stealing my Japanese drawing books and drawing, drawing, drawing.. / Hello cat! - on a wet walk back from school / making slow progress on my cross stitch project / nice reading with a nice cup of tea - I LOVE Come home magazine, it's so inspiring, with all those homes so full of character and so cosy, I want one! / choosing fabrics for my first order - 2 pocket quilts to make..

Embarking on a mad cross stitch project / hot chocolate season is officially open! / playing zoo / a slightly weird but great fun night barn dancing / a pile of lovely magazines, books and stationery all the way from Japan - thank you A, it's like Christmas today! - and my new diary

More stock building

With Y happily settled at school (he's only on his second day but so far so good!), I'm having to settle into a new morning routine myself and I'm hoping to free at least one morning (out of 3) for sewing.. Christmas is just round the corner (chocolates have already started appearing in the shops!) and so is the school Christmas fair - plus I have received a couple of orders (my first!!) from friends so I need to get sewing!!
