I have been nominated for The versatile blogger award by
De*rien Madame. I only discovered this blog recently when I got matched up with the girl behind it by Lauriane from
Hey yellow cat, who's had the great idea of organising an exchange of "little papers" (letter, postcard, notebook, calendar, photo, stickers, drawing, bookmark etc..). Being a postcard and stationery addict, I immediately signed up and am soooo looking forward to sending and receiving an enveloppe full of little papers - more on that later.
Anyway, that's how I came across De*rien Madame and got given this award so thank you very much Madame!!
When you get nominated, you're supposed to write 7 random things about yourself (and nominate 15 people to do the same, but I'm going to pass on the nominating bit..), so here goes..
- I never - well, rarely - drink water, I only drink tea! A LOT of tea!! And I have a collection of mismatching mugs to drink it in. I'd love a collection of mismatching plates too!
- Having lived in London for 11 years, I feel more British than I feel French sometimes.. I am a bit of a soap addict, I get annoyed when people queue jump, I drink tea, I chat about the weather and I'm losing my French.. Foodwise, I'm still very much French!!
- I don't watch or read the news.
- I spend far too much time writing lists: to do lists, wish lists, list of movies I'd love to see, list of all the things I'd love to do and visit this year. I have a ton of notebooks and diaries to write my lists..
- My favourite movie is Le fabuleux destin d'Amelie Poulain - as you might have guessed from my blog's address!
- I have very ecclectic music on my Ipod, ranging from Yann Tiersen, Leonard Cohen and old 80's French classics, through Rihanna and Lady Gaga to Placebo and Muse.
- I dream of having a sewing workshop/cafe/shop, as well as working with kids and for a charity - or something combining the 3!?
En français maintenant..
- je ne bois que très peu d'eau mais je bois énormément de thé! Et j'ai une collection de tasses dépareillées que j'adore. Je rêve aussi d'une collection d'assiettes dépareillées!
- après avoir vécu 11 ans à Londres, je me sens plus British que française des fois.. J'adore les soaps anglais, ça m'énerve quand les gens ne font pas la queue comme il faut, je bois du thé, je fais la conversation en parlant de la météo et je commence a perdre mon français. Point de vue bouffe, je suis toujours 100% française!!
- je ne regarde ni ne lis les infos.
- je passe bien trop de temps à faire des listes: de choses à faire, de choses que j'aimerais acheter pour moi, les enfants ou la maison, de films que j'aimerais voir et d'endroits que j'aimerais visiter cette année. J'ai une tonne de carnets et d'agendas pour écrire tout ça..
- mon film préféré est Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain - comme vous l'aurez peut-être deviné d'après l'adresse de mon blog!
- j'ai de la musique super diverse sur mon Ipod, de Yann Tiersen, Leonard Cohen et des vieilles chansons françaises des années 80 à Rihanna et Lady Gaga en passant par Placebo et Muse.
- mon rêve c'est d'avoir un jour un café couture/boutique, et puis de travailler avec des enfants et pour une charité - ou un boulot qui combine les 3!?
