My week #30

Picking peas, raspberries and sunflowers (and cucumbers, carrots, potatoes, onions, strawberries and blackberries..) at Garsons farm / M's been spending most of his home time reading, playing with his Lego and making the longest loom band bracelet/necklace/skipping rope in the world / a cinema outing and my new favourite song / a Sunday stroll in the City and making a model of the Natural History Museum as part of the Archikids festival / holiday packing - we're off on Wednesday for a week, yippee!!

My week #29

The Transport Museum (Y loves the museum, I love the shop!) / our summer list of things to do (I might be slightly ambitious on the creative front..) / it's been incredibly hot for the last 10 days, M had so much fun cooling off in the fountains on the Southbank - have I ever told you I love that place!? / a outburst of colour as part of the Festival of Love / a cool afternoon at Battersea Power Station - we were meant to see Toy Story at the outdoor cinema but last week's mighty storm damaged the installation (and to our internet, hence the lateness of this post!) and the screening was cancelled.. so the boys made the most of the sprinklers and free ice cream and sweets!

My week #28

Sports day / saying thank you and goodbye to a special teacher / saying goodbye to a few friends too (this note is by one of M's classmates, I just love the cute things kids write to each other!) / embarking on a new project (I've set out to turn my stash of fabric scraps into a rag rug.. What do you do with your scraps??) / sharing / playing boules with an old friend / enjoying traffic-free Regent Street: the cutest ice cream van ever! I love the new Flowers of Liberty collections and look at this bus stop entirely made of Lego!

Have a lovely week everyone! Last week of school for M, then I'll have 2 monsters home with me, heeeelp!!
