It's been really lovely and inspiring getting to know you all over the past year or so. Thank you so much for all your comments, kind words and encouragements and I'm looking forward to another year peeking into each one of your little worlds and sharing the things that I make and that I like.

My week #47/48

 

A bit of a photo overload this week as I am cramming 2 weeks into 1 post!!
Sorry I haven't been around much.. my mum's been visiting and it's been the usual pre-Christmas frenzy.. I don't know about you but I love being busy and I just love this time of year!

A homemade wreath / baubles out / a trip to Regent street and its toy heaven / shoe shopping - someone was very keen on a new pair of heels, spot the odd one out! / Christmas crafting at a Pinned it! Made it! pinterest party / the London eye in the fog / a little package all the way from Finland - more on that subject soon / some lovely birthday presents - thanks A! / a candlelit Christmas concert / new cushions (thank you mum for making them and thank you Anne-Flore for the Betsy fabric, I finally used it!) / writing Christmas cards / braving the crowds to sneak a peak at the Harrods windows / some moving tributes at the Nelson Mandela statue in Parliament Square / a walk along the Southbank: the cutest ornaments at the Christmas market, making a wish at The Gift Factory, 2 Santas running around in the skate park, a bus ride home..

Thank you all so much for your birthday wishes, it was lovely to read them all, even the late ones ;)

My week #46

I have been very spoilt this week.. First a magnificent parcel from Anne-Flore with lots of beautiful handmade goodies for me, and books and games for the boys (merci beaucoup Anne-Flore!!), then Hermine's Advent calendar (merci Hermine!!), then Betsy's crocheted stars (thank you!!) / a 7th birthday party for M - treasure hunt, movie night and pancakes (he doesn't like cake anymore apparently..) / opening my Advent calendar (so excited!!)
